Within the framework for Uppsala Forum on Peace, Democracy and Justice several departments, centers and faculties cooperate on issues of mutual interest, such as international studies, politics and area studies. This cooperation is emphasized through seminars and lectures, which are open for all. Click here for information about next open seminar.

The Forum is meant to increase interdisciplinary research across the partner departments, increase internationalization and be a partner for both financial backers and receiver of such funds. Uppsala Forum organizes seminars, workshops and lectures as well as a guest research program. Researchers that are active within any of Uppsala Forum’s constitutive departments are eligible for certain grants, especially for visiting research fellows, but smaller planning grants etc are also available. Click here for more information concerning applications procedures.

The following institutions are part of the Forum: the Department of Peace and Conflict Research, the Faculty of Law, the Department of Government, the Swedish Institute for North American Studies (SINAS), the Hugo Valentin Centre and Uppsala Centre for Russian and Eurasian Studies (UCRS).
